What is Tabber and Stringer Machine?

Tabbing-stringing is one of the most important processes in solar cell modules. The quality of your electricity depends on how well you bond and fasten those tabs to make sure they reach the estimated efficiency!

The process of bonding the solar cell to a ribbon is called tabbing while line-stringing is a process that involves arranging solar cells into rows.

The entire process is done automatically by Tabber and Stringer Machine.

This machine usually begins with placing cell tabs in a row, cutting the ribbon from the ribbon reel, and gripping it on top and bottom between rows of the cells to connect them together in a straight line.
To ensure each cell is well connected to the ribbon, vacuum is created to help fix all cells onto the Taber and Stringer Belt from moving around.

What is Tabber and Stringer Machine Laminated Belt?

Tabber and Stringer Machine Laminated Belt has another name: Teflon Belt, they conveyors the connected cells to the welding part. 

What is the advantage of the Tabber and Stringer Machine Belt?

 

Heating the hot air up to 320-350 degrees for stringing process with these temperature ranges, our PTFE Laminated Belt can resist temperatures up to 360 degrees, covering the range of the stringing process.
The soldering time for cells and ribbons are less than 4 seconds!

1. Special Design with Endless Joint and Dimensional Stability.

This PTFE Laminated belt is choosing two layers of Teflon Cloth with thicknesses of 3mil and 5mil on each layer, heat press, and  laminate them together with overlap joints on both upper and lower layers. Seperating in different locations, these two joints increases the strength of the joint and ensures endless connectors.
This provides radiation protection as well as additional strength to withstand constant wear and tear while still maintaining its laminating properties in order for it does not to break down easily over time or under heavy use situations.

2. Breathable Surface for Vacuum Working Table

To fix the solar cell on the belt from moving around during the tabbing and stringing process, Esone creates Teflon Laminated Belt with holes in straight lines.
Usually, we provide 4 lines of holes with diam 2mm~ 3mm(any size is workable with full draft).

3. Nonstick Surface.

The special coating on our PTFE laminated belts makes them incredibly durable. What is more, the laminated belts can resist almost all acids, oils, and solvents with a single coat of protection that will last for decades. All these properties guarantee this long lifetime and help protects metal tables below from damages caused by corrosion or rusting
