Anti Static PTFE Coated Glass Fabric 5mil for textiles choose the coating of PTFE(polytetrafluoroethylene) with carbon loaded. It gives non-conductive or anti-static properties to the material. PTFE-coated fiberglass with a special formulation that prevents static buildup during operation. The product is an excellent choice for applications that require high release properties in a static dissipative environment. This high-quality product is made of black color and it has an added static dissipating additives along with a specially designed fiberglass surface for maximum strength.

PTFE-coated Glass Fabric is widely used to facilitate drying and lamination equipment for textile processing.
In the textiles industry, many productions involve fusing, dying, and laminating and then moving the finished products to the next process.

Friction causes Statics.

During production, friction can cause some static, which would make the textiles stick on machines or working tables.
This would affect the working efficiency of the whole production.

Statics can be transferred from our PTFE Fabrics to machines or other elements, avoiding it from building up.  

Good heat transfer balance.

5mil is best for the balance of heat transfer and shape holding strength.
Heating or pressure can easily transfer from the fabrics to the fusing fabrics, which saves a lot of energy.

Chemical resistant.

What is more, during the fusing or laminating process, some chemicals are involved.
All PTFE Fabrics have nonstick characteristics, nothing can be left on the surface, and it also resists chemicals as a protector from erosion machines.
